Amnesty International to launch report on US drone strikes in Pakistan

New Delhi, India (October 16, 2013): According to information sent to the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) by Durga Nandini, Media officer of Amnesty International India, “[o]n Tuesday 22 October 2013, Amnesty International will launch a major new report on the US drones program in Pakistan – ‘Will I be next?’ – US drone strikes in Pakistan”.

“The report is one of the most comprehensive studies about the US drone program from a human rights perspective. It includes detailed research into several recent drone strike killings in North Waziristan, which raise serious questions about violations of international law”.

As per information the report is being launched at a press conference in Washington DC on October 22 at 6:30pm IST/9am US east coast time/2pm UK time.
