AISSF and SFJ released the copy of FIR number 282-83 that was registered at Pataudi Police Station on November 12, 1984. The FIR has more than fifteen names of the accused who were involved in the killing of Sikhs at Haily Mandi – Pataudi during November 1984. There is a list of 24 witnesses in the FIR as well but on April 26, 1986, the then Session Judge VM Jain acquitted all the accused because of the lack of evidence. Another FIR number 165 is claimed to have been registered at Pataudi Police Station by Harbhajan Singh of Village Kheri who survived the attack.

AISSF President Karnail Singh Peermohammad stated that it is shocking that after Hondh-Chillar now Haily Mandi Genocide site of Sikhs have been unearthed after more than twenty eight years. The newly discovered site of Sikh Genocide raises a question as to what was the extent of loss of life of Sikhs during the organized and planned attacks in November 1984 added Peermohammad.

“With the discovery of another Genocidal site where Sikhs were killed during November 1984 We demand a State wide investigation into the killings of Sikhs and a 3 member inquiry commission should be appointed comprising of High Court Justices to thoroughly investigate the November 1984 genocidal attacks on the Sikh population throughout the State of Haryana” added Peermohammad.

In a statement issued from New York, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun Legal Advisor to Sikhs For Justice, stated that now with the discovery of Haily Mandi – Pataudi Genocide site of Sikhs, it is clear that Sikhs were targeted throughout India in an identical pattern in which death squads lead by Congress Leaders would cordon the Sikh neighborhood, rape the women and burn the men and children alive. “Justice has eluded the Sikh community for twenty eight years and there is no hope that present regime in India will ever be sincere to punish those who organized genocidal attacks on Sikhs during November 1984” added attorney Pannun.
