CM Badal offers “grants” to Dhuri seat villagers, if they elect Badal Dal candidate

Dhuri: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal told the villagers of Bardwal village that if they elected Badal Dal Candidate Gobind Singh Longowal from Dhuri constituency, he (Badal) would come to the village again to hold another Sangat Darshan. He said so while referring to his previous visit to the village when he had held a Sangat Darshan and granted funds to the village.

He also criticised the Congress party and Barnala family alleging that the Congress had rewarded the Barnala family for “serving the party for a long time and for betraying the state as well as the Badal Dal.”
CM Badal said despite opposition by Congressmen, Sonia Gandhi allotted the ticket to Simar Pratap Singh Baranala saying that she had already made a promise to the Barnala family.

Punjab Chief Minister also claimed the state was planning to sell surplus power to other states.

Others present at the rally included Finance Minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Cabinet Minister Ajit Singh Kohar, former minister Upinderjit Kaur and Gobind Singh Longowal.
