Copy of Leaked Status Report by SIT on Role of Dera Sauda Sirsa in Beadbi Cases

Chandigarh: A leaked copy of status report submitted to Justice Ranjit Singh Commission by Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by DIG Ranbir Singh Khattra on SIT’s investigation into incidents related to Beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib confirms that Dera Sacha Sauda (Sirsa) was behind these incidents.

The report was released during a press conference in Chandigarh on Monday (August 13) by former leader of opposition Sukhpal Singh Khaira and Kharar MLA Kanwar Sandhu.

The report maintains that the main person behind conspiracy to beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib was Mohinder Pal Bittu s/o Ram Lal R/o Kotkapura, who is a member of the 45 member committee of Dera Sacha Sauda (DSS).

Punjab’s main political parties, including the ruling Congress and opposition Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal)-BJP are silent on this issue.
