Death Hoax of Bapu Surat Singh goes viral; Family refutes rumor

Ludhiana: A death hoax about Bapu Surat Singh has gone viral over social media, including Facebook and WahtsApp, since last night. But family members of Bapu Surat Singh have refuted the rumor. Talking to the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) over phone that his father was fine.

“Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s struggle has entered its 274th day. Bapu Surat Singh Ji is at home in Hassanpur”, Bapu Surat Singh’s son Ravinder Jeet Singh Gogi told SSN over phone.
Notably Bapu Surat Singh is on fast seeking release of Sikh political prisoners. He was recently discharged from PGIMER (Chandigarh) where he was reportedly treated by doctors against his will.
