Dr. Gurbhagat Singh’s Exclusive Interview (Part 1/3)

Dr. Gurbhagat Singh was a noted Sikh thinker. After retiring as a Professor and head of English Department of Punjabi University Patiala, he had dedicated the final decades of his life towards English translation of Guru Granth Sahib. An extensive interview with Dr. Gurbhagat Singh was recorded in June 2011. The interview was recorded in two sittings held in two days. In this interview Dr. Gurbhagat Singh talked about Bhootwara , his experience of study and teaching in America, his return from USA, his thinking, uniqueness of Sikh memory and Sikh heritage, concept of Wondrous Capital and the Sikh Revolution besides other philosophical concepts. The interview is divided into three parts, by compiling various talks/sub-parts together on the basis of subjects/topics for the supposed convenience of the viewers. Sikh Siyasat is thankful to Parwaz Sra for granting all rights of the interview. Sikh Siyasat is also thankful to Dr. Mehar Singh Gill, S. Ajmer Singh, S. Daljit Singh Sra and Dr. Sewak Singh who had had played key role in this interview. First part of this video is released on YouTube on 6 January 2020.
