DSGMC president GK celebrates ‘slavery’ of Sikhs; Hosts Indian flag in Sikh college

New Delhi: Indian Constitution denies distinct and unique identity of the Sikhs and clubs Sikhs with Hindu religion and various Sikh organizations have called upon Sikhs to mark India’s day of adopting ‘Constitution’ as ‘the black day’ to protest against injustices done to the Sikhs by Indian state and constitution but the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee president Majit Singh GK ‘celebrated’ India’s republic day by hosting Indian state’s flag.

A press release by Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (DSGMC) says “Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College, Dev Nagar, New Delhi Celebrated the Republic Day by organizing National Flag Hoisting Ceremony on 24th January 2015”.

“The Event was attended by Dr. Man Mohan Kaur,- Principal, Staff members and Students . S. Manjit Singh G.K. – President (DSGMC) hoisted the Flag. S. Ravinder Singh Khurana – Senior Vice President (DSGMC) graced the occasion by his presence.After unfurling the Flag, National Anthem was sung by all present there followed by distribution of sweets. The function was organized by NCC Unit of the College” the release reads further.

It is notable that GK was confronted by Sikhs in Diaspora, particularly in UK and USA over his pro-Indian state propaganda.
