Eight Devotees hurt as SGPC bus overturns near Tarn Taran

Tarn Taran: A bus owned by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) reportedly overturned on the Tarn Taran-Goindwal Sahib road near Khadoor Sahib yesterday. Eight devotees were injured in this mishap who were rushed to Guru Nanak Dev hospital in Tarn Taran. The condition of five persons injured in this incident is stated to be serious.

According to Hindustan Times (HT), the bus was carrying as many 40 devotees who are on a visit to historical Sikh shrines of Tarn Taran, Goindwal Sahib and Khadoor Sahib. The mishap occurred around 5 pm when the driver of the bus tried to overtake a truck and lost control over the vehicle.
