Handcuffed Bhai Paramjeet Singh Bheora performs Antim Sanskar of his father

Ropar: Sikh political prisoner Bhai Paramjeet Singh Bheora was today granted an emergency and temporary release from prison for two hours to attend funeral of his deceased father. Bhai Paramjeet Singh Bheora is presently undergoing imprisonment for life at Chandigarh Model Jail, Burail.

Bhai Bheora’s father Bapu Jagjit Singh had passed away on May 23. His Antim Sanskar was held today.

Bhai Paramjeet Singh Bheora was brought to the cremation ground by the police. When he lit the “Angitha” of his father, Bhai Bheora was handcuffed under the custody of police personnel.
