Dal Khalsa to approach U.N. Office to seek intervention
Amritsar (February 02, 2011): The Dal Khalsa has slammed Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda for the delay in setting up a judicial commission to ascertain who ordered the killings of 32 Sikhs and under whose instructions and patronization such well planned assault was organized in the village Hondh Chiller 26 years ago.
In a hard hitting statement Dal Khalsa spokesman Kanwar Pal Singh took a dig at Hooda for not heeding to the call of Sikh parties asking for probe into the massacre by sitting judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. “The Sikhs are united on this issue. Across the spectrum, all parties representing Sikh voice have asked for judicial probe to ascertain the real perpetrators and conspirators behind the carnage in village Hondh Chiller of Rewari district”.
The attitude and approach of present CM of Haryana was disappointing and disgusting. He was trying to brush the matter under carpet probably under pressure from Congress High Command as it has been proved beyond doubt that the killings of Sikhs through-out India was orchestrated and engineered by Congress with the active participation of state machinery. Pointing a finger of suspicion towards the then Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, he said his role should be probed and brought under scanner.
He said their party has decided to approach the New Delhi based UN officials to urge them to send their team to village Hondh Chiller for investigating the matter. Last year, our delegation met UN officials in Delhi seeking their intervention for the sake of justice. “We will approach them afresh as the massacre at Hondh Chiller is a living testimony of the Sikh carnage executed under state patronage 26 years ago in Delhi and elsewhere”.
Sikhs in Punjab and the Diaspora have cried hoarse, year after year, for the last 26 years, that such gross injustice should shame the rulers of the country, but to no avail, he rued.
He called upon the Sikh masses to pay tributes to the martyrs by participating in Ardas at Akal Takht on 4.
