Milpitas, California (May 05, 2014): Hindutva preacher and Yoga trainer Baba Ramdev seems to have landed in another trouble as he is accused of hurting the Sikh religious sentiments. Ramdev was seen as sitting on the stage while a portrait of Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji was place on floor near the stage. Various Sikh bodies have been demanding immediate arrest of Ramdev.
An F.I.R. has already been registered by the Jalandhar police against Ramdev under section 295A of Indian Penal Code. The FIR has been registered on the complaint of a local Sikh by police station division number 4, Jalandhar.
Satnam Singh Chahal executive director of North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) has also demanded immediate arrest of Ramdev for hurting Sikh sentiments. His comments came after Indian media break out the news story that Baba Ramdev photographs seated on a high chair with the picture of Guru Gobind Singh lying on floor during his programme at Talwandi Sabo in Punjab. The photo of Talwandi Sabo camp by Ramdev had gone viral on the social media, after which the protests had started at various places in Punjab and other parts of India.
Meanwhile, a BSP leader from Hoshiarpur has announced Rs. 1 crore reward for beheading Ramdev. This strnage announcement was reportedly made by BSP leader Bhagwan Singh Chauhan while addressing people who had gathered at Mehtiana Bus Stand to protest against the controversial and objectionable statement of Yoga Guru in which he while trying to hit at Rahul Gandhi had uttered words which are being seen as insulting and hurtful.
