Ludhiana, Punjab (April 13, 2014): Alienating itself from Indian electoral system, Sikh nationalist political party Akali Dal Panch Pardhani has stated that electoral process was not the substitute of freedom of different nationalities residing in Indian peninsula.
In a statement, in Punjabi language, (original statement is reproduced below) issued by party’s press secretary Advoacate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur, Bhai Harpal Singh Cheema, acting president of the party along with Mandhir Singh (Secretary General) and Amrik Singh Isru (General Secretary), said: “Indian electoral process was a practice to mask Brahmnical totalitarian oligarchy as democracy. This is nothing but the fraud with the people.”.
“Two main Brahmnical political parties, sponsored by capitalist families, and leaders of minorities, Dalits and Backward classes who have accepted the dominance of Brahmnical state, have killed the chances for real representatives of people to be elected. To maintain the slavery of common people, only those parties exist on political scene which are backed by the Brahmnical state”, he said, adding, “real face of electoral process is like the mist prevailed as a result of contradictions, hopelessness, communal anarchy for people. In this situation, issues of welfare of Mankind have been replaced with baseless issues and debate on characterless persons.”
They opined that such poor situation leaves ordinary man non-spiritual, mentally slave and physically ill and civilization has to face polluted environment, unjust and massacre of minorities.
“For past six decades, Indian polity have been damaging separate identities of different nationalities residing here in order to build single Indian nation by using the weapons of secularism and integrity of the country”, the statement reads further.
They said that the parliament election-2014 contained great importance as majority community of India has fully adopted the agenda of RSS i.e. Hindu nationalism and left the agenda of Congress i.e. Indian nationalism. In such circumstances, repression of minorities was likely to be intensified more than before.
“National issues of Sikhs cannot be resolved in this Brahmnical state because whole structure of this state does not recognize the separate identity of different nationalities living in this region”, he added.
In the statement, Panch Pardhani leaders said, “Some sincere circles say that partial relief can be enjoyed in this electoral politics, but it could be possible only if Sikh organizations work with Panthic traditions and Sikh leaders love their Guru in real sense. Presently, however, condition of these organizations is not idealistic. So, Indian state is exploiting this condition against Panthic interests”.
They added, “More important point is that after witnessing countless martyrdoms of Sikhs in June 1984, November 1984 and aftermath, sole aim of spirit of the Panth is to achieve Khalistan, not partial relieves. So, all those persons/organizations which back demand of struggling nations in India of being freed and are struggling for their independent homelands, should not become the part of the huge fraud of Brahmnical and authoritarian polity.”
