Journalist Hamir Singh On Agenda for Punjab Village Panchayat Elections 2018 & Need of Gram Sabha

Punjab Bachao, Pind Bachao Committee on July 29, 2018 held a discussion on Topic “Panchayat Elections, Village and Gram Sabha” in Chandigarh ahead of Village Panchayat Elections in Punjab. Participating in this debate senior journalist Hamir Singh said that Punjab was passing through a difficult phased. Its’ a time, he said, when Punjab seemed to have been defeated in intellectual sphere. Endorsing the agenda of Pind Bachao, Punjab Bachao Committee he stressed that the Gram Sabha needs to be activated in order to save village community in Punjab.
