Khadoor Sahib Bypoll Results: SAD Badal heading for clear victory

Khadoor Sahib: Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) candidate Ranvinder Singh Brahampura was leading with 36,114 votes after eight rounds of counting. Seven more rounds of counting are still pending. Independent candidate Bhupinder Singh Bittu was trailing at second place.

SAD Badal’s Ravinder Singh Brahampura won Khadoor Sahib byelection

Polling for Khadoor Sahib seat was held on February 13 in which 58% voters had cast their vote. The seat had fell vacant after Congress party MLA Ramanjit Singh Sikki had resigned from his post in wake of incident of beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib in his constituency.

Congress and Aam Aadmi Party did not contest this bypoll.
