In a Last Minute Political Gimmick Before Elections CM Badal Rewards His loyalists

Chandigarh November 26: In a last minute hassle Punjab Chief Minister has rewarded his loyalist bureaucrats with top notch posts in the state civil administration, as he gave a nod to appoint Mr. Harbhajan Singh Dang as Chairman of the Punjab Health Systems Corporation.

Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of Chief Minister’s Office said that Mr. Badal also gave approval to appoint Mr. Jagdish Chabbra as Chairman of the Improvement Trust, Moga.
It was only after the acceptance of the resignation submitted by Mr. Jagdeep Singh Nakai as Chairperson of District Planning Committee, Bathinda, the Chief Minister also gave approval to appoint Mr. Satnam Singh in his place as the new Chairperson of this committee.
Meanwhile, Mr. Sukhbir Singh Ablowal has been appointed as member of the Punjab Bazzigar and Tapparivas Board.
The Chief Minister gave his concurrence to all these appointments by clearing the files in this regard this evening. Formal orders related to these appointments would be issued by the concerned administrative departments shortly, the spokesperson added.
