Gurdaspur/Lahore: A corridor linking Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib in Narowal district of West Punjab with Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur district of East Punjab will open on November 9. The much awaited corridor is going to open amidst heightened tensions between the governments of India and Pakistan.
The corridor will allow Sikh yatris from East Punjab and other parts of the Indian subcontinent to visit Dabar Sahib, Kartarpur Sahib through the corridor without formal visa.

The corridor will be opened by both the governments of India and Pakistan on November 9. At Dera Baba Nanak the corridor will be opened by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and at Kartarpur Sahib it will be opened by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan.
