NIA Gets Production Warrants of Sikh Youth Arrested From Amritsar

Mohali: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) of India has obtained production warrants of Ravinderpal Singh, Jagdev Singh, Harcharan Singh and Nishan Singh. Ravinderpal Singh and Jagdev Singh arrested by State Special Operation Cell, Amritsar under FIR No. 5 dated 30 May 2019.

The case was registered under Arms Act, 3, 4, 5 of Explosive Substances (Amendment) Act 2001, 17, 18, 18-B, 20 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, against Jagdev Singh, Ravinderpal Singh and Kulwinderjit Singh alias Khanpuriya at Amritsar on May 30.

It is learnt that the investigation of this case has been transferred to the NIA. Accordingly, the NIA moved an application in Special NIA court in Mohali on 18 July 2019. The court has issued production warrants for 22 July.
