Police and intelligence agencies on High alert in Punjab

Ludhiana (December 6, 2009): As the news is coming in media that the Sikh organizations have called for Punjab shut-down on 7^th December to protest against atrocities of Punjab Government, the Punjab police and intelligence agencies are put on high alert.

Persons of CID and intelligence are busy in making calls to leaders of major/minor Sikh organizations to find any clue regarding their plans for Monday’s shut down. Meanwhile, some police officers are also trying to convince Sikhs leaders to remain peaceful on Monday.
