Bhai Rajoana’s hanging: Punjab bandh on 28 March

Sikh bodies have called for Punjab shutdown on March 28, 2012
Ludhiana, Punjab (March 27, 2012): Punjab is scheduled to shut down on 28 Marcus to raise people’s voice against hanging of Sikh political prisoner Bhai Bawant Singh Rajoana. The hanging is scheduled to take place on March 31. Joint committee formed by various Sikh organisations has given the Punjab bandh call.
Joint committee leaders expect massive response from the civilian population of Punjab. They informed Sikh Siyasat that only ambulances, army, police, journalist and school children going for examination are exempted from shut down call.
