Richmond Hill Sikh Body Adopts Resolution Against PTC for Asserting “Intellectual Property” Rights On Gurbani

Richmond Hills, US: The Sikh Cultural Society, Richmond Hill (US) has adopted vital resolutions against PTC Network, condemning later’s wrongful and highly objectionable claims about ‘Gurbani’.

Notably, it had come to light few weeks back that PTC Punjabi and its parent company G Next Media Pvt. Ltd. was asserting ownership of Darbar Sahib Hukumnama audio along with asserting “intellectual property” rights over the Gurbani.

In first resolution, the US based Sikh body said that asserting claims of “intellectual property” over Gurbani was in fact an act of committing “beadbi” of Gurbani.

The Sikh body has urged SGPC to ensure action against PTC Network and its’ president Rabindra Narayan for committing beadbi.
