Exhibition of photos of those who achieved martyrdom while defending their faith and Darbar Sahib during army attack called “operation blue star” back in 1984, remained a special point of attraction during Fateh Divas Celebrations. Large photos of various leaders of Sikh militant movement carrying poetic stanzas from works of various prominent poets, like Sant Ram Udasi and Prof. Harinder Singh Mehboob, were also displayed. “This exhibition of photos of Sikh martyrs of 20th century is dedicated to Baba Banda Singh Bahadur and other great martyrs of 18th century.” said Bhai Harpal Singh Cheema, Secretary of Panch Pardhani. “It must be remembered that besides winning over Sarhind, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur established first Sikh Rule, and in 20th century Sikh warriors led by Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale have furthered that legacy.” he added.
