Moga, Punjab (June 15, 2014): Two days after Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal demanded amendment in All India Gurdwara act to avoid separate committee, two rival groups Haryana Akalis Jhinda and Nalwi groups have joined hands on Sunday (June 15, 2014).
Both groups have called a “joint” Panthic convention on July 6 in Kaithal. They have invited Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and finance minister Harmohinder Singh Chattha.
Leaders of Both the groups has formed adhoc committee and its members including Didar Singh Nalvi, Jagdish Singh Jhinda and Avtar Singh Chaku while addressing a press conference at Chandigarh today announced that “an explosive” decision can be taken during the convention.
Leaders alleged that Punjab deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal had asked us to help Chautala’s party and promised to take positive decision on forming of separate SGPC committee for Sikh Gurdwaras of Haryana but he has taken U-turn on the issue.
