SGPC officials refused Sehaj Path request by Jathedar Nandgarh

Talwandi Sabo: Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) officials reportedly denied “permissions” to “dismissed” Takht Damdama Sahib Jathedar Giani Balwant Singh Nanadgarh to take a saroop of Guru Granth Sahib Ji to his residence to hold a Sehaj Path Sahib. Jathedar Nanadgarh was willing to hold Sehaj Paath at his located in residence in the Takht Damdama Sahib complex.

However SGPC chief president Avtar Singh Makkar denied having issued any such instructions to the Takht Damdama Sahib management.

Giani Nandgarh’s PA Parminder Singh Randhawa said: “I requested a Gurdwara official to deposit Rs 4,100/- to hold Path at the Jathedar’s residence but he refused to oblige. I called up the Gurdwara manager but in vain.”

He said the Saroop of Guru Granth Sahib was then brought from the nearby Bunga Mastuana Sahib.
