SGPC polls postponed?

Chandigarh (September 01, 2011): As per information received from sources of Sikh Siyasat Network, it is learnt that the SGPC general elections that were to be held on 18 September, 2011 have been cancelled by the Punjab and Haryana High Court order.

High Court set to listen the arguments of Sehajdhari Federation, that was demanding right to vote in Sikh religious body polls.

As per initial information polls have been postponed for uncertain period. More details are awaited.
