Shooting at shopping centre in Germany’s Munich; 1 killed

Munich: Shooting is reported to have taken place at a shopping centre in Munich, Germany. According to CNN one person is killed and 10 are injured in the shootout.
News agency Reuters said multiple deaths are feared.

The shooting, reported about 6 p.m. local time at the Olympia shopping mall, is over, police spokeswoman Claudia Kvenzel said.
The mall near the southern German city’s Olympic stadium was surrounded by police after shots were fired.
“There is a major police operation under way in the shopping centre,” Munich police said on Twitter, urging people to avoid the area.
