Sikhi Creates a Caste-Free System: S.Gurtej Singh

Panthak personalities Bhai Rajinder Singh Mughalwal, Bhai Lal Singh Akalgarh, Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu, Bhai Narain Singh Chauda, ​​Bhai Bhupinder Singh Bhalwan, Bhai Satnam Singh Khandewala, Bhai Satnam Singh Jhanjia, Bhai Hardeep Singh Mehraj, Bhai Amrik Singh Isru, Bhai Dev Singh On the invitation of Dodd and Bhai Manjit Singh Phagwara, a meeting of Sikh scholars and intellectuals was held on November 14, 2022 at Giani Gurmukh Singh Memorial Hall, Gurudwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. During the discussion S. Gurtej Singh (former IAS) said that India’s system is caste-based, while Sikhism creates a caste-free system. The motto of Sikhism is the propagation of the Gur-Shabad and the political age of the Gur-Shabad is ‘Hanne Hanne Miri’ according to which freedom and autonomy should be reached down to the very basic unit. He also presented the draft constitution of a political party as a suggestion to the thinkers during this discussion.
