Spirit matters more than numbers, AISSF to Giani Gurbachan Singh

Amritsar: All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) has reacted sharply to a statement by Gaini Gurbachan Singh that Sikh couples should have at least four children.

In a written statement issued today, AISSF president Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad said that “spirit matters more than numbers” and “emphasis should be on developing Sikhi spirit amongst children”.

“We should emphasize on learning and adopting Sikhi values in our lives, and then to transmit those values to our next generations” he added.

AISSF leader said that Jathedar should not copy statements of Hindutva propagandists.
