Chandigarh: In a press note released by SAD (Badal) here today the party president and Deputy chief minister of Punjab Sukhbir Badal has expelled and revoked the party membership of two senior most leaders for opposing the party candidates fileded during the recently concluded Punjab state assembly elections.
In a press note released by the party from its head office today Sukhbir Badal by issuing an official order in this regard stated that party member from Shahkot constituency and SGPC member Shingara Singh Lohia and the member of the local unit of Qadian constituency and the leader of local municipal council Jarnail Singh Mahal are expelled from the party with immediate effect and their elementary membership of the party stands terminated for indulging in anti-party activity by opposing the official SAD (Badal) candidates for the assembly elections.
He further added that the party has a zero tolerence policy towards indiscipline.
