SBS Nagar: Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) General Secretary Sukhdev Singh Bhaur has announced to resign from all posts of SAD (Badal). Sukhdev Singh Bhaur, who is also executive committee member of the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) that he has finalized his decision to part ways from SAD (Badal) in wake of Badal government’s failure to curb the incidents of beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib.
Notably Sukhdev Singh Bhaur was one of the SGPC members and senior leaders of the ruling party who had opposed Sikh jathedars’ decision to grant pardon to dera Sirsa chief despite support of decision by the SAD (Badal).
Talking to the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) over phone Sukhdev Singh Bhaur said that he would send his resignation to party head on Monday.
