Washington, DC (August 05, 2012): Earlier today, a shooting occurred at a Sikh gurdwara in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, that left seven dead and others wounded. Members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) released the following statements in reaction to this tragic event:

This was disclosed today at a media conference, in Bobigny (near Paris), by the United Sikhs legal team, who had filed a communication on behalf of Ranjit Singh to the UNHRC in December 2008.
