Ludhiana (January 28, 2010): As per a Times of India news report; a UK-based organization, United Khalsa Dal has claimed that alleged Babbar Khalsa militant Karanvir Singh, who had escaped from custody of Hoshiarpur Police in October last, has been arrested by the Punjab police from Nepal on January 21.
Nabha/ Ludhiana (February 26, 2010): After almost thirteen days of illegal detention the Police showed arrest of Darshan Singh S/o Gajjan Singh, resident of village Manki, District Sangrur on Thursday, the February 25th.
Patiala (February 24, 2010): Karamjeet Kaur of village Manki, Sangrur has once again claimed that her brother in Law is in illegal detention of Punjab Police since 13 February.

BUT two days before these claims are made by the Police, a daily Punjabi news paper “Rozana Spokesman” had reported from Raikot that “Police has claimed to solve the cases of un-blasted bombs found at Air Base, Halwara and Indian Oil Gas plant, Nabha. Police has arrested Bakhshish Singh of Patiala, along with 12 others with 15 Kg RDX, an A.K 47 and more arms.”
Patiala (February 22, 2010): Punjab Police has finally showed the arrest of Jasbir Singh Jassa of Manki Village on February 21, 2010. As per news reported by various sections of media the Punjab Police claims that ‘with the arrest of two suspected militants of Khalistan Libration Force (KLF) by Patiala police near Nabha in this district on Sunday, the police claimed to have foiled a yet another attempt of militant to strike in the region.’
