Sedition proceedings against Dal Khalsa activists dropped by Court

Amritsar, Punjab (October 22, 2012): According to information a local court of CJM Mrs Ranjeet Kaur today dropped proceedings and charges against 21 leaders and activists of Dal Khalsa who were booked in June 2005 for raising slogans in favour of 'Khalistan' on the eve of anniversary of army attack on Sri Darbar Sahib, code named as Operation Bluestar by the Indian state and army.

Chandigarh, Punjab/India (October 02, 2012): Punjab and Haryana high court on Monday (October 01, 2012) quashed the sedition charges against 21 leaders and activists of the Dal Khalsa who were booked in June 2005 for raising slogans in favour of 'Khalistan' on the eve of anniversary of army attack on Sri Darbar Sahib also called Operation Bluestar.

Sikh bodies not satisfied with Nayar’s apology – KAC to hold joint meeting on Friday

Sikh organizations have took exception to the contents of the apology issued on behalf of Kuldip Nayar stating that the objectionable parts of his controversial autobiography shall be removed in the next edition.
