U.S. Court to hear Human Rights violation case against Congress (I) chief Sonia Gandhi on Oct 22

New York, USA (October 17, 2013): According to information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN), a Federal Court of the United States of America (USA) has ordered initial status conference in the pending case against Congress President Sonia Gandhi for shielding human rights violators. Judge Brian M. Cogan will hold the status conference on October 22 in accordance with Fed. R. Civ. P. 16.

UK: Sentencing in case related to attack on Kuldip Brar on 10 December

London, United Kingdom (October 15, 2013): It is learnt that a UK court has deferred the sentencing of four Sikhs, including one woman, to December 10, 2013. They were convicted of carrying out an attack on Indian Army’s retired Lt. General Kuldip Brar who had led the Indian army’s attack on Sikh Gurdwaras across Punjab and adjoining states in June 1984, including Darbar Sahib, Amritsar.

U.S. Court summons delivered to Sonia Gandhi in Sikh genocide 1984 related lawsuit

New York, United States (September 11, 2013): It is learnt that in the pending case of shielding prominent Indian politicians and workers of the Congress party from any action for their involvement in the Sikh Genocide 1984, the US based Sikh rights group “Sikhs for Justice” (SFJ) on September 10, 2013, managed to get the summons of the US court served to Congress president Sonia Gandhi through hospital and security staff at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre in New York.
