Surrey/ Canada (November 11, 2013): It is learnt that the annual blood donation drive by the Sikh nation began on November 01, 2013 this year. This humanitarian campaign was started in 1999 in the memory of the victims of the Sikh genocide 1984 who were brutally reduced to ashes in various parts on India in November 1984 in a systematic manner.
GENEVA, Switzerland: More than 10,000 Sikhs from all over the world gathered in front of the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland,to stand in solidarity on the issue of human rights violations of Sikhs in November 1984. The Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), the All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) and the Movement against Atrocities and Repression (MAR) organized the rally which was a resounding success.
Leicester, United Kingdom (November 8, 2013): It is learnt that Sikh sangat at Derby (UK) shall mark the 29th anniversary of the Sikh Genocide 1984 by holding an event on November 10, 2013. It is further learnt that Sikh author and historian S. Ajmer Singh, who is currently on visit to England, shall be participating in the event to be held by Derby’s Sikh sangat at Gurdwara Guru Arjan Sahib Ji.
New Delhi, India (November 9, 2013): As per media reports Congress leader Sajjan Kumar has sought to declare that the probe conducted by CBI against Sajjan Kumar in a case related to November 1984 massacre of Sikhs as "illegal".
New Delhi (November 8, 2013): It is learnt that the Delhi High Court has declined to grant a stay on the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe against Congress leader Jagdish Tytler in a case related to the November 1984 violence against the Sikhs.
Chandigarh/ Punjab (November 8, 2013): It is notable that last year, on the 28th anniversary of the Sikh genocide 1984, a petition was tabled in the Australia House of Representatives today seeking to declare the 1984 systematic massacre of Sikhs as genocide. The petition was tabled by Warren Enstch, Chief Opposition Whip for the Liberal Party.

Brussels (November 05, 2013): As per information the Sikh Federation (UK) organised a successful human rights conference in the European Parliament on the 29th anniversary of the Genocide of Sikhs in November 1984. The conference was held on November 04, 2013.
Ajitgarh/ Mohali (November 05, 2013): According to information sent by All India Sikh Studetns Federation (Peer Mohammad) to the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) – a demonstration was jointly held by various Sikh organizations to mark the 29th anniversary of Sikh Genocide 1984 on November 03, 2013 at Ajitgarh (Mohali).
Amritsar, Punjab (November 4, 2013): It is learnt that an Ardas was held at the Akal Takht on November 03 in memory of those who were killed during the Sikh genocide of 1984. After the Ardas, Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh, in his address, regretted that even after 29 years of the brutal massacre of the Sikhs there had been no justice for the victims. The wounds inflicted on the Sikhs have not yet healed, he added.

Jalandhar, Punjab (November 03, 1984): Sikh Students Federation former president and Secretary General of Akali Dal Panch Pardhani (ADPP) Bhai Mandhir Singh has stated that the denial of justice to the victims of Sikh genocide 1984 proves that conclusions drawn by the Sikh militants were correct that the justice could never be attained for the atrocities of June and November 1984 with in the Indian system.

It is generally believed that the Congress cadres were behind this genocide. This is true but there were other forces too which actively participated in this massacre and whose role has never been investigated. Those who were witness to the genocide of 1984 were stunned by the swiftness and military precision of the killer marauding gangs (later on witnessed during the Babri mosque demolition, burning alive of Dr. Graham Steins with his two sons and recent pogrom of the Muslims in Gujarat) who went on a burning spree of the innocent Sikhs. This was beyond the capacity of the Congress thugs.

They plan to offer special prayers in the city on Saturday, to mourn the thousands of lives lost in the Sikh genocide in November, 1984”.
Geneva, Switzerland (November 02, 2013): It is learnt that thousands of Sikhs from across the globe rallied on November 01, 2013 at the UN's Geneva base, demanding an international investigation of a deadly wave of genocidal violence against the Sikhs in India in 1984. Sikh activists have strongly asserted that the killings 29 years ago were state-sponsored genocide, while India blames them as mere “riots”.
