Dallas, United States (November 16, 2012): According to report published on the "The Daily Campus" website Southern Methodist University’s Sikh Student Association (SSA) organized an event called “Human Rights: A Sikh Story” to commemorate the 28th anniversary of the 1984 Sikh Massacre in India. The even also marked discussion regarding the Wisconsin shooting at the Oak Creek (Wisconsin) Sikh Temple Gurudwara Sahib in August, 2012.
New Delhi, India (November 10, 2012): It is learnt that Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) activists staged a demonstration outside the residence of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshi on November 10, 2102. The activists reportedly protested against the decision of Delhi Government to stall the naming of a park as that was to be named as memorial for the vicitms of November 1984 violence against Sikhs.

Ontario, Canada (November 07, 2012): Canadian Sikhs have applauded Australian M.P. Warren Entsch's efforts for tabling a petition of 4453 signatures in Australian Parliament to recognize the November 1984 killings of Sikhs in India as a genocide.

London, UK (November 04, 2012): In a press statement the National Sikh Youth Federation (NSYF), a UK based Sikh youth body, has revealed it's plans to hold an exhibition on various places in the UK. This is the first exhibition of this nature, curated by a team of professionals, which has been developed within the Sikh community.
Toronto Canada (November 03, 2012): While PM Harper is on a visit to India, thousands of Canadians gathered in Toronto to protest against the ongoing impunity to the members of the ruling Congress party of India, who organized genocidal attacks on Sikhs during November 1984. The gathering urged Canadian Prime Minister to raise with his Indian counterpart, the issues of denial of justice to the victims of the 1984 Sikh Genocide and India’s nefarious campaign against Canadians branding them as “supporters of terrorism”.

Canberra, Australia (November 01, 2012): According to reports available with Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) Australian MP Hon. Warren Entsch has tabled a petition of more than 4,000 signatures, calling for the government to recognise the killing of more than 37,000 Sikhs in India in 1984 as a genocide.

Jalandhar, Punjab (October 30, 2012): It is learnt that the Sikh Youth of Punjab (SYP), youth wing of Dal Khasla, will be holding a demonstration in Jalandhar on November 3 to mark the 28th anniversary of 1984 anti-Sikh massacre in Delhi and elsewhere.
Leicester, UK (October 30, 2012): It is learnt that a Sikh Genocide memorial conference shall be organized at Gurudwara Guru Teg Bahaudur Sahib in Leicester, UK to observe 28th anniversary of “Sikh Genocide 1984”.
Sydney (Australia October 29, 2012): 28 Years after the organized and systematic killing of Sikhs in India, Honorable Warren Entsch, an Australian Federal Member of Parliament will present a “Genocide Petition” before Australian Parliament. The “Genocide” petition will be tabled before the “House of Representatives” during Adjournment Debate (4.30p – 5pm) on Thursday, November 1st, 2012.
The petition calls for the Australian Government to recognise that an organised campaign of horrific violence took place against Sikhs in November 1984, and that these killings were ‘genocide’ as per the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.
