Call special session of Punjab Assembly to pass resolution in support of Professor Bhullar, SJF

Chandigarh (September 10, 2011): AISSF and SFJ demanded that SAD (Badal), the ruling party in Punjab should call a "Special Session of Punjab Vidhan Sabha" to pass a resolution demanding Central Government to commute Professor Devenderpal Singh Bhullar's death sentence respecting the sentiments and demand of Sikhs.

Sikh Marriage Act – “SFJ” Submitted Memorandum to UN Seeking Intervention

New York, USA (August 31, 2011): Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) approached United Nations by submitting Memorandum to Honorable Heiner Bielefeldt, UN "Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief" demanding UN's immediate intervention to impress upon Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's government to amend article 25 of the Indian Constitution to restore the independent status of Sikhism.

New York (August 13, 2011): Many prominent international human rights organizations have extended support to the demand for the release of Professor Devender Pal Singh Bhullar. Equal Justice USA (EJUSA), New Yorkers for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (NYADP); Wespac Foundation and Reprieve have written to the Government to stop the execution of Professor Bhullar.

Delhi (July 15, 2011): Thousands of Sikhs from North India attended Justice Rally and launched “Civil Disobedience Movement” at Jantar Mantar in Delhi to secure the release of Professor Devender Pal Singh Bhullar. A Letter Writing Campaign addressed to President of India demanding release of Professor Bhullar was launched. Participants of the rally appealed to every member of Sikh Nation to send at least one letter to the President of India to save Bhullar’s life.

Sikh Genocide case: Kamal Nath attempts to find escape route, denies the service of summons

New York (June 30, 2011): In an attempt to find an escape route Indian Minister Kamal Nath, who is facing allegations of genocide and other international crimes, in a US court, in a tort suit, has denied the receipt summons in this case. Kamal Nath through his attorneys has filed answer to the summons issued by Judge Robert W. Sweet of the US Federal Court for the Southern District of New York.

SJF to file criminal case against Indian home minister for 1984 related controversial statement

Amritsar (June 27, 2011): AISSF and SFJ announced after the July 15 “Justice Rally” at Jantar Mantar, a criminal complaint will be filed against Home Minister P. Chidambaram for urging the Sikhs to “forgive” and “move on” from the November 1984 events in which thousands of Sikhs were killed. As of today, not a single leader has been sentenced for organizing these attacks.

Sikhs to hold Truth Rally in Toronto on June 20, 2011

Toronto (June 3, 2011): Canadian Sikh community will be holding a “Truth Rally” on June 10, 2011 during SAD (Badal) and Congress-I leaders’ visit to Toronto. The purpose of the rally is to highlight the ongoing atrocities, torture and killing of Sikhs in India by the SAD-Badal and Congress-I regimes. Sikhs in India still lack fundamental rights, they regularly suffer persecution, torture, beatings and killings at the hands of the police.

AISSF & SJF want holiday on 6 June; write to Punjab CM

Chandigarh (May 18, 2011): All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) and Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) submitted a memorandum to Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and all members of Punjab Vidhan Sabha demanding that June 06 be declared as State Holiday in Punjab to commemorate June 1984 attack on Sri Harmandir Sahib; destruction of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and killing of thousands of Sikh men, women and children by the Indian Army.

Chandigarh (April 16, 2011): All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) and Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) demanded that criminal case should be registered against HS Hanspal and Sajjan Kumar for pressuring witnesses in November 1984 Sikh Genocide case. AISSF President Karnail Singh Peermohammad stated that Congress is responsible for organized killing of Sikhs in November 1984 and shielding the leaders leading the active congress workers who killed Sikhs with impunity.

Mass Grave of 65 and ruins of Gurudwaras burnt in November 1984 discovered

Chandigarh, PUNJAB (April 12, 2011): In a communique jointly issued by Navkiran Singh (Cheif Legal Council, INDIA), Karnail Singh Primohammad (President, AISSF) and Babu Singh Dukhiya (President, 1984 Victims Justice and Welfare Society) it is maintained that "a mass Grave of Sikhs killed in November 1984 has been discovered after 26 years at Gurudwara in 22 Block, Nagloi, No.1, Delhi where more than sixty five (65) Sikhs were burnt alive November 1984. The site where Sikhs were burnt alive killed is located in front of Gurudwara Udaseen Taran Ashram".

Canadian Sikhs to push genocide motion in Parliament  

Toronto, CANADA (April 11, 2011): Sikh votes shouldn’t be taken for granted was the message that was delivered loud and clear at a conference held this weekend by Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), a human rights group, backed by the Ontario Gurudwaras Committee and Ontario Sikhs and Gurudwaras Committee. Together, the three organizations agreed to pursue a Parliamentary motion to have the attacks carried out against Sikhs in November 1984 recognized as Genocide.

Congress using State authority and resources to defend itself

New York: (April 01, 2011): On the Summons issued on March 1, 2011 by U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York for conspiring, aiding, abetting and carrying out organized attacks on Sikh population of India in November 1984, Congress (I) has now hired Law Firm of Wiggin and Dana LLP in addition to the law firm of Sabharwal, Nordin and Finkel.
