London: BBC Midlands today covered a story about “The Black Prince”, an upcoming Hollywood movie based on life-story of Maharaja Duleep Singh.

The story of the last Sikh Maharaja is being chronicled in a film which has been partly shot in the Midlands. It’s being co-produced by a Hollywood studio and stars the famous poet and songwriter Satinder Sartaaj in his big screen acting debut.The Maharaja was removed from his throne by the British in 1849 as a result of the Anglo-Sikh Wars.
