Ludhiana (August 23, 2012): According to reports Lt Brian Murphy, the police officer who was injured during the shootout at Wisconsin Sikh Gurudwara Sahib on August 5, has been discharged from the hospital.
Murphy had tried to tackle the terrorist named Wade Michael Page and was injured in the process as he received several gun shots. Six Sikhs were shot dead while two were injured in the shoot-out. Lt Murphy was the third man injured during the shooting incident.
The Hospital in which he remained admitted released a statement informing that Lt Brian Murphy has been discharged from the hospital and asked the members of the media to respect his request for privacy as he continues to heal from his injuries.
It is also notable here that one of the two injured Sikhs, Santokh Singh was discharged from the hospital while another injured Punjab Singh still remains hospitalized and is said to be still critical even three weeks after the attack.
