New Delhi, India (July 07, 2014): It is learnt that 116 workers who were till now caught up in the war torn Iraq arrived in New Delhi on Monday (July 07), while many others are still being held captive by the suspected militants.
As per news published at NewsTrackIndia, the workers were greeted with garlands and were offered water and juices at the airport in New Delhi.
Chief coordinator of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara management committee, international affairs, Puneet Singh Chadha, said adequate arrangements were being made to send the workers back to their hometowns.
Meanwhile, a freed Indian worker, who was abducted in Iraq, Arjun recalling his ordeal said the Indian embassy in Iraq was of no help.
