New Delhi, India (April 25, 2013): According to information available with Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) the Supreme Court of India shall hold a hearing on a petition moved by the producers of the Sadda Haq Punjabi Movie against the ban imposed by Punjab, Haryana, Chandgarh, Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir governments on the screening of the movie.

Medical board formed to examine Professor Devender Pal Singh Bhullar’s

New Delhi, India (April 24, 2013): It is learnt that the Delhi Health department has constituted a three-member medical board under a professor of psychiatry from AIIMS to look into the mental fitness of Sikh political prisoner Professor Devinderpal Singh Bhullar, who as been on death row in India since 2001. Prof. Bhullar's execution was cleared by the Supreme Court of India on April 12, 2013.
