This humanitarian campaign was started in 1999 in the memory of the victims of the Sikh genocide 1984 who were brutally reduced to ashes in various parts on India in November 1984 in a systematic manner.

Coventry (November 7, 2013): It is learnt that an elderly Sikh man named Joginder Singh, 80, from Canley, who was assaulted in the city centre back in August has died in hospital. Joginder Singh was admitted to hospital following a brutal attack in Trinity Street on August 10.
