Punjab Election 2017 Results: Congress Leading in Initial Trends; AAP & Badal-BJP fighting for 2nd place

Chandigarh: Initial trends of Punjab State Assembly election 2017 show a clear lead in favour of the Congress party.

At the time of writing this news, trends from 105 constituencies were available of which Congress was leading on 55 seats, while SAD (Badal)-BJP was leading on 26 seats (SAD Badal 21, BJP 5).

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was leading on 21 seats. Others were leading on 1 seats.
