Amritsar, Punjab (March 22, 2014): It is learnt that the two Sikhs of a Hamilton-based gurdwara in New Zealand has been declared as ‘tankhaiya’.
Ravinder Singh and Iqbal Singh, members of the Hamilton based Gurdwara’s management committee were declared ‘tankhaiya’ after March 20 meeting of five Sikh Jathedars at Akal Takht Sahib.
The two were held guilty as they had debarred certain Sikhs from paying obeisance at the Gurdwara Sahib. The ‘tankhiya’ tag will remain on them till the time they do not appear before the Akal Takht and seek ‘forgiveness’.
