Interpol Red Corner Notice Against Harmeet Singh PhD and Others on India’s Request

Chandigarh: Reports in Indian media maintain that the Interpol, acting on India’s request, has issued so-called “red notices” against six persons. These include Harmeet Singh alias PhD, Gurjinder Singh, Gurjit Singh Cheema, Gurpreet Singh; Jagdish Singh Bhura, and Gurmit Singh alias Bagga.

Interpol website shows that India has levelled various charges against these persons.
A report in Hindustan Times (HT) says that the Red Corner notice is issued on the request of Punjab police. It further says that Indian agencies are also making efforts to get a red notice issued against Hardeep Singh Nijjar and Ranjeet Singh.
