Punjab Polls 2017: Left Alliance Declares Its List Of Candidates For 52 Seats

Chandigarh: As per the media reports the socialist parties of Punjab- namely CPI, CPI(M) and RMPI — on Wednesday declared the first list of candidates for 52 seats. The CPI will contest 25 seats, CPI (M) 14 and RMPI 13 . Addressing the mediapersons at Jalandhar, Hardev Singh Arshi of the CPI, Charan Singh Virdi of the CPM and Mangat Ram Pasla of the RMPI said they would contest the elections jointly for the Left democratic alternative. They said the SAD-BJP government, Congress and AAP had been trying to lure voters with a “bogus” dreams. They further stated that these parties followed neo liberalism.
