Punjab’s drugs crisis is new scheme for ethnic cleansing: Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale

July 11, 2016 | By

Patiala/ Chandigarh: According to a press release by the Prameshwar Dawar (PD) Network, Sikh pracharak Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale said during a recent prachar samagam: [r]egardless of the statements by the politicians, it cannot be denied that there is a serious and very real drug crisis in the state of Punjab. A river of drugs now flows throughout the state and it is the work of agencies.

“A large proportion of Punjab’s youth are suffering from this menace which, I believe, is wiping out an upcoming Sikh generation before it has been born. It is a new scheme for ethnic cleansing”, said Bhai Ranjit Singh.

He said that there was no doubt that those circumstances created within Punjab now have never before been created. Instead of disregarding the problem or brushing it under the carpet, the crisis should be acknowledged and confronted by the Government. Wearing a blue, white or orange Dastaar does not make one Panthic. Only if Guru Gobind Singh Ji makes one Panthic will they be a Panthic.

The Sikh pracharak said these truths must be told, it is the role and responsibility of the Parcharaks to do so. There will be no point in holding the microphone and playing instruments “if the truth of the present time is not exposed” he says.

“For the agencies to plan and carry out such a task, they need two types of people. One is corrupt officers, and the other is sell-out leaders. After nourishing the financial greed of both these types of people, the land of Punjab is flooded with drugs. There is a massacre of the youth taking place, this time without the use of guns and tanks. First these agencies attempted to destroy the Sikh places of worship, used tanks on Sri Akal Takht Sahib, killed countless innocent people by massacre, but these methods did not work. When they realised the Khalsa does not die with bullets, they devised a more sophisticated sinister scheme and introduced a river of Class-A lethal drugs into the Punjab in an attempt to exterminate the Sikh youth”, he added.

As per PD Network release, during the Parmeshar Dwar Monthly Diwaan on Saturday 2 July 2016, Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa gave real life examples of families he has met on the ground that are suffering due to this crisis. Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa says one does not need to be ‘Antarjami’ to recognise from a distance the darkened lips of those who have become drug addicts. How can the politicians assert there are no drug addicts in Punjab and claims to the contrary are simply to tarnish the repute of the youth? Why brush it under the carpet instead of acknowledging and confronting it, or at the very least support or show some sort of gratitude to those who are attempting to tackle the crisis?

“Instread, what happens? Those Pakhandi Deradaars who have looted Punjab are visited, praised, given money, given lands and given freedom to open up their Deras wherever they want, but the Sikh pracharaks are being fired upon with bullets”, he added.
