SAD Badal’s Ravinder Singh Brahampura won Khadoor Sahib byelection

Khadoor Sahib: Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) candidate Ranvinder Singh Brahampura has won Khadoor Sahib byelection with a margin of 65,664 votes. He bagged 83,080 votes. Independent candidate Bhupinder Singh Bittu lasted at second place second place with 17,416 votes.

Polling for Khadoor Sahib seat was held on February 13 in which 58% voters had cast their vote. The seat had fell vacant after Congress party MLA Ramanjit Singh Sikki had resigned from his post in wake of incident of beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib in his constituency.

Congress and Aam Aadmi Party did not contest this bypoll.
