SGPC owned University holds Educational Trip

Fatehgarh Sahib: Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib organised an educational tour for the hostellers of the University on 19th and 20th March 2016. In the two day educational tour students visited Pushpa Gujral Science City, Wagah Border and paid their obeisance at the Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar.
A press release by the University informs that Dr Sanjiv Kumar of Physics department of the University was the tour co-ordinator. Talking about the trip he said the over 35 students of the University across various departments went for this educational trip.

He said that tours like these solve the dual purpose of not only educating the students but help them to bond and know each other better as well.
Assistant Professor Vinay Bhardwaj of Computer Science and Engineering department, Dr Malkit Singh from Library sciences department and S. Ajit Singh also accompanied the students on the trip. Students Randhir Singh from Nano-technology department and Raman Kumar from Mechanical engineering department were the student co-ordinator on the tour.
