Chandigarh (March 29, 2011): Mass cremation site has been discovered in Pataudi, Harayan where several Sikhs were burnt alive in November 1984 while they were trying to flee the attackers. In the latest startling discovery AISSF has located several witnesses, survivors and photographs of the cremation site that were taken soon after November 1984. At this site several Sikhs who initially escaped the attackers were later surrounded, cut into pieces and several of them burnt alive while attackers danced around the bonfire chanting slogans “Khoon Ka Badla Khoon Liya – Paap Nahin Kiya”
AISSF has discovered ruins of the buildings and blood stained Flour Mill at Rajindra Park, Block A60, Block 52, Jacobpura and Badshahpur, Gurgaon, Haryana in which scores of Sikhs were killed on November 1 and 2nd, 1984. The most gruesome killing took place in Block A60 of Rajindra Park near Railway station Gurgaon where several Sikhs were milled alive in a flour mill. According to an eyewitness, a woman named Swarn Kaur was first cut into pieces and then fed to the flour mill. The flour mill has since been un-operational and carries the marks and evidence of gruesome killing of Sikhs.
These sites where Sikhs were attacked and killed during November 1984 are latest in the series of such discoveries that started with finding of mass grave at Hondh-Chillar where ruins of Sikh houses, Gurudwara and human remains were found after 26 years.
