Sikhs in Norwich to Remember Ghallughara June 1984 Martyrs on June 1

Norwich, USA: Sikh community of Norwich city in Connecticut state of USA will be remembering Ghallughara June 1984 martyrs on June 1. The day marks the beginning of Indian army’s attack on Darbar Sahib, Amritsar and other Sikh Gurdwaras in Punjab and adjoining states in 1984.

Sikhs regard the June 1984 attack as the beginning of ‘Third Ghallughara’ of the Sikh history.
A poster of the event reveals that the commemoration event will be held on June 1st 2019 (Saturday) from 12 PM to 2 PM at 261 Main Street Norwich, CT 06360.
